Recordings by the Lady Chapel Singers
 
          The Lady Chapel Singers’ repertoire is deliberately diverse, including medieval works by Kassia, the Nun, Hildegard of Bingen, and selection s from the Codex Las Heulgas along with African-American spirituals, Native American chant, an African praise song, and much contemporary American and English music. Two recordings are available from Church Publishing, Inc.
          Magdalene and the Other Mary, released in 2005, emphasizes songs and stories of holy women. It includes the only recording of the choral arrangement of an aria from the oratorio Women of Valor by Andrea Clearfield, as well as selections by Kassia, the Nun, Sulpitia Cesis, Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Clara Schumann, along with African American Spirituals, and other contemporary music, much published in Voices Found, the hymnal supplement.

Echoes of Saint Hildegard          The first Lady Chapel Singer Recording, Echoes of St. Hildegard, features two songs of Hildegard of Bingen, selections from Codex Las Huelgas, African American Spirituals, as song of praise from Ghana, and music by contemporary American women. It concludes with the full solo cantata, Esther, by Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre.
